PreFlight 2018: Session Two

PreFlight is the Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s premier educational program for entrepreneurs with idea stage startups looking to create a foundation for launching their businesses and receive an expedited evaluation of your idea. The program is open to startups from all industries. Session 2 will run from May 21-August 20.

Diversity Breakthrough Training

Join The Nashville Entrepreneur Center for a Diversity Breakthrough Training hosted by the Culture Shift Team. This event has limited participant spots but is free for all EC members and Program Alumni. Non EC-Members and Alumni can also access this course for $50.

Learning Objectives:

-Understand the link between diversity, culture, inclusion and your business objectives.

-Learn how to overcome unconscious bias

-Understand the importance of cultural agility

-Learn how to use diversity to create greater innovation and business growth

-Learn how to diagnose internal and external organizational cultures

-Craft a business case for diversity for your organization

Community Happy Hour

Community Happy Hour, presented by Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison, is a networking happy hour event welcoming local creatives, entrepreneurs and leaders to connect and celebrate Nashville’s startup community. Each event will showcase an EC entrepreneur and the EC team will be available to welcome you and answer any questions. Beverages & snacks will be provided!

Interested in learning more about the EC? Prior to the Happy Hour, we will host our monthly EC Info Session from 4:30-5:30 pm, which will give you an opportunity to have a full understanding of the EC and how to get plugged in. Registration for the info session is included as an option when registering for this event.

EC Workshop: When You Manage Your Time, Think Like an Investor

Time is one of our most precious assets. It’s impossible to store up, and easy to waste. Once it’s used, it’s gone, but invested wisely, our time can produce incredible returns!

In this workshop, we’ll take some lessons from the world of financial management and investment to create a strategy for making the best use of our time. Attendees will leave with clear goals for the use of their time, and a plan to monitor and improve their progress toward those goals.
